The senior management, supervisors and employees of Baker & Joiner Ltd are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

 

This Privacy Policy notice sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed and protected by us. The senior management of Baker & Joiner Ltd shall ensure that the company complies with the Data Protection Act 2018, in all use of any personal data and with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25th May 2018.

The business of Baker & Joiner Ltd is predominantly the repair, renewal and construction of / to all types of building structures.

·        This data is retained within the database currently held by Baker & Joiner Ltd and is destroyed once out of date.

·        Information you provide verbally either, verbally by telephone, face to face, email or written hardcopy in relation to your requirements.

 

We do not process any sensitive data about you or share it with any third parties outside of Baker & Joiner Ltd, unless requested by, or permission given by you. Requests and permissions shall be in writing.

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION:

 

Baker Joiner will use the information you share with us to administer your contract with us.

 

You can request that we inform you of what information we hold about you / your company at any time without providing personal information. However, to use some of our enhanced functionality we will, for security purposes, request additional security information so that your request can be processed.

 

Examples include:

 

1.      Providing your name, email, user password and contact details.

2.    Providing your name, email address, password and preferences to create an account to manage your requirements.

 

The details we request for each piece of function will depend on what is required to perform the action. For example:

 

1.      If we need to contact you by email, we will request your email address.

2.      If you are making a payment to Baker Joiner, you will be asked for you card and / or billing / bank details.

3.      We will not ever record or save your payment information either in written format or on our servers.

 

SHARING INFORMATION

 

Baker Joiner WILL NEVER share your personal information with any third parties and will never sell, rent, exchange or release any personal information to any third party without your written consent. In such circumstances, only the personal information required for the performance of the contract will be shared, such as your name and contact telephone number.

 

SECURITY

 

Baker Joiner is; and shall remain committed to the security of all data we collect. We will also use industry standard procedures to protect your data, including anti-robot and anti-spamming technology. It should be noted that although we have such security measures in place we cannot guarantee the loss, misuse or alteration of personal data.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

 

Reviewing and updating your data

 

You can update the information we store on your behalf by contacting and informing either a member of the senior management team by telephone, email or in-person. Security checks will be carried out on all such persons / companies who request the update.

 

The senior management of Baker & Joiner Ltd shall ensure the company complies fully with all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. You may request copies of the personal information we hold about you, or request to amend any factual inaccuracies or delete any personal information we have on record. Telephone requests must be followed up by a written request.

 

Any requests must be directed to the Managing Director, Mr Michael Joiner, or Mr Richard Dennis, Contracts Director at the Company's registered address. If you are not in possession of the address this can be provided upon request.

 

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

 

We may revise this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be recorded on the site on the revised Privacy Policy.  Please check this page regularly to ensure you are fully aware of any changes.
